Ink Streaking- If your inkjet printer is streaking or not printing your ink cartridge may have dried up. Try taking the cartridge(s) out and put the printhead (on the bottom of the cartridge) down on a damp piece of papertowel. This may open up the ink flow again.
Low Ink or No ink Warning- Most printer manufacturers will make it difficult for you to use remanufactured ink and toner cartridges. Each different cartridge presents unique obstacles to overcome. The most common problem is an ink counter build into the printer software. The software "counts" the number of pages you have printed with your current ink or toner cartridge and decides when the cartridge is empty. Many times the cartridge still has some ink or toner in it. Depending upon the manufacturer the printer will
1. Stop printing 2. Or just give you a warning message that you are low on ink or toner
Most manufacturers give you the ability to turn off the ink counter - but they do not have to make it easy. Usually the ability is somewhere in the printer driver software. I have included some common Cannon and Lexmark information. Please contact our store for additional information

REPLACE CARTRIDGE IF ANY COLOR PRINT OUT MISSING
Printers that use ink tanks like the Cannon cli5,8; Hp 564, 88,10,11, 920 or 940 have their printheads in the printer instead of on the cartridge. Eventually the printheads wear out and must be replaced. But these style of printers usually give you the best print quality at the lowest cost per page
